Every call I made to Ocwen customer service went to India. One of their supervisors told me that my account had to be delinquent for my property to qualify for a short sale.

They put me through 8 months of *** to get the short sale approved. I lost my buyer and the sale due to this ridiculous process. The end result is a loan modification and damage to my credit. My advice is to insist on speaking with a customer service rep in the USA.

Ocwen is now sending out letters about misdated correspondence from them and offering payments up to $3000. Does anyone have any info on this?

I am currently applying for a loan modification with Ocwen and it has been terribly rediculous...documents have been processed & approved after several resubmittals of the same documents! They required one more document from my wife employer that has her employee information.

She works for a international company that has a 3rd person company that handles employees payroll info. for lenders/mortgage co.

Ocwen does not accept this info and modification was denied. They will not let me speak with someone in the us that understand this document process.

I got that letter about the misdated claims. I was wondering if it is legit.
