You are correct. Ocwen makes its
money thru predatory loan servicing.
they create defaults out of thin air
and then try to suck out your equity
with late fees and phony foreclosure
suits. Go to "mortgage servicing
fraud" website to find out how to
defend against them.

I am having the exact same problem, in 1988 we got into financial trouble and HUD gave us a forebearance agreement. What it initially said wht that we owed them an extra $5,000 to be paid at hte end of our mortgage.
HUD sold the mortgage to OCWEN, we have been paying them for 20yrs on an original mortgage of $34,000 and I owe them $44,000. That is $10,000 more than the original loan.
They tack on late fees when the payments are not late.
They are out and out criminals and theifs and I do not know how The Federal Government of The Banking
Commishion lets them get away with it.
HUD is useless they do absolutely nothing, I have gone to them for help with OCWEN.

HELP!!! I am in AZ and am having the same issues as many of you with OCWEN. They have filed foreclosure on me even though I have been making all my payments. When I call them I get someone in India, that read scripts and refuse to answer questions.
I too have requested a pay history and get nothing from them. I have copies of all my bank statements showing my payments they have procesed each and every month. However, when I submit them to OCWEN they say they need copies of my cancelled checks. But they process the checks electronically so there is no cancelled check to show. (My statement is very clear the payment was processed by ocwen.)
This month they just tacked on another $1500.00 in "fee's". Last month it was $700.00, the month before $500.00. However it clearly shows on their statement and their customer service reps tell me all I have outstanding is a balance of $247.00 the remaining $5,000.00 is FEE's!! Fee's they refuse to explain and can't explain when asked.
Are there any class action suits being sought in Arizona against them? If so I want to be a party to this!!!
I also just found out they are not even licensed to do business in Arizona!!!
