Making payments and communication | Ocwen review

My mortgage was sold to Ocwen 8 months ago. I have to change my password each month in order to make a payment. My mortgage went up almost $300 in Feb. when they took over due to a mistake in my Escrow which is still being straightened out. I involved Senator Elizabeth Warren and they communicate much better since I did that but I am still waiting for a new escrow analysis, now in oct. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My payment has never been late yet I feel I am being punished just for their entertainment. Can't wait to refinance with another bank. Of course I can't do that until they get off their backsides and get my work done.

Making payments | Ocwen review

Every month I dread making my payment , I have an on line sight but alway have reset my password , and like this month I have to try 3 times to finally get into the site and make my payment and it seemed to go through but it has not posted to my account . Tried to log in to make sure and unable to do so this time . I called the number on line and it just forced me to make a payment over the phone it never informed me of a fee until, I made the payment and then it said it cost me 12.00 . This is a horrible company I truly dislike it . Have never had so much trouble in my life making payments in my mortgage .

This Company is a Joke..... | Ocwen review

I did a deed in Leu with Ocwen , turned over the Keys in April... they keep setting me up with new relationship managers.. and no one can tell me why I have not gotten the final papers... They will not notify the credit bureaus that I no longer own the property and that I no longer need to be paying them a mortgage...therefore I cannot qualify for a loan.... Everytime I would start to get somewhere with them they switched me to another person in India and I had to start all over at the beginning.... Very frustrated.... I would like to be a part of a class action law suite against them.... . I no longer have access to the property since april as they put new locks ... I already signed the papers at a notary.... they are sending me papers saying I owe them $44000.00 and need to be maintaining the property.....

Ocwen mortgage fraud

Our mortgage got sold to Ocwen by Chase another lousy company! When they first took over our mortgage they tried to tell us we had 140.00 fee that was carried over, we refused to pay it yet ever month for about a year they put it on our statement. We have been making the same payment which went up slightly about one year ago, Just found out that they have not paid our home owners insurance which has always been lumped into our payment along with our home taxes. Where did that money go???? Why don't we as tax payers and homeowners not have any control over who carries our mortgage? This country is run so poorly!!!!! So who"s going to fix this problem and can we actually talk to someone on the phone who speaks english????? Who" watching out for all of us who are honest hardworking individuals?

Unecessary, unexplainable and unacceptable delays in releasing insurance monies held by Ocwen to rebuild my home after a tragic house fire.

Details
The mortgage company completed the necessary inspection and was to release the money to the builder to complete the building project within 7-10 business days. Nearly five (5) weeks later, the funds still have not been released. My builder has start and stop fees that are being passed on to my overall construction cost and I am left extending the term of my temporary housing for at least two additional months. Every time I call Ocwen, I get a poorly English speaking person from India who keeps saying the same script that the process time is 7-10 business days. When I explain that it has been nearly 5 weeks, all they can tell me is 7-10 business days. If I ask to speak to a supervisor, I am placed on hold for 15 minutes minimum, causing me to call back several times. Finally when I do get through to a supervisor, I get another person from India telling me the same information as if they are reading a script from a screen. This delay is costing me hundreds more with each passing week. Money that I have to furnish my home and to replace household items are being absorbed as the result of this delay. I have been traumatized by the tragic of the fire but dealing with the financial stress and anxiety caused by Ocwen has placed a burden that is not fair to me and my family as a consumer.

Where is the accountability for poor customer service when your mortgage company cause you to loose thousands of dollars due to unecessary delays that cannot be explained? | Ocwen review from Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Ocwen is a poorly managed company and gives poor customer service. I had a house fire and unfortunately the insurance must send the check to the mortgage company to make sure the house gets repaired/rebuilt. Ocwen Loss department inspected the house and was suppose to release the funds for the builder to rebuild my home. It has been almost 5 weeks and the funds have not been received as of yet. This delays is costing me, my builder and the insurance company literally thousands of dollars. Each month I have to pay a couple of thousand in rent each additional month on temporary housing and my builder had to pay contractors to be on standby waiting for the construction to continue within the time frame given of 7-10 business days. Each time I call, I get a poorly English speaking representative from India that repeats the same information over and over again. I have been told that their process time is 7-10 business days which in itself is a long time, but it has been over 30 days and no funds have been received. Money that I will need to pay for furniture and household items is now being spent to pay for extended temporary housing. This nightmare of the fire is one thing but the stress and anxiety caused by the delays with Ocwen is beyond any words I can express. Needless to say, I will be looking for a different mortgage company when this is all over.

I've been experiencing the exact same issues with Ocwen, to be honest even if they approved my loan modification application, which i doubt they will since its been four months when i initially applied, and as of today they're still telling me that my application is still incomplete, and i know that i have sent all the documents they have requested of me numerous times. This company should be reported and punished for taking advantage of consumers in many ways.

Requested Deed in Lieu a year ago and every month Ocwen has another excuse for delay in approval

I Can't believe it has been a year since I applied for DIL. I have received unbelievable reasons during this year that have resulted in total stress for me. Initially I completed all the paperwork and they verbally contacted me and said they were complete and in review, after a few months they contacted me and said I didn't return the completed forms, I completed the forms again and several more weeks went by and they said the forms were received and complete..each month it was something else totally off the wall..about 3 months ago I received a call that the DIL was approved and I would receive an approval letter, no letter was ever received. In fact, no commitment made over the phone was ever backed up in writing. But in June 2014 I received a large package of legal documents for signature and Notary and I completed and returned to the Attorney in Atlanta, Ga, per instructions. Now for the last two months I have received 3 phone calls telling me there is someone living in my property so they can't go forward with the DIl, I moved from the property and turned off all utilities in January 2014 and notified Ocwen verbally and in writing. They verbally acknowledged this information numerous times in monthly conversations with the Relationship Manager...They told me this was a HAFA approval!! I can't get a straight answer and don't have any idea where I stand on this..I have not paid my Mortgage since October 2013...but I have to pay a monthly Condo Fee of $286.00 each month that the property is in my name. There is much more to this horror story so much that I can't write it all down..but today when they called to tell me again that I had a tenant in my property I asked how close we were to foreclosure, if the DIL was denied, the RM said months to YEARS..OMG I can't continue to pay this condo fee indefinitely. I absolutely need help now.

Go to your county records office and print off all records on your property relating to you. Pay special attention to the Assignment of Mortgage -- date(s) and who signed them.

Look the people up-- the signatures may be forged.

If MERS is the beneficiary of your mortgage, it likely is securitized ( mortgage and note separated ). Get a plan audit ($795) from Holmes and Galt ( Houston, TX ).

When audit is done, they will give assistance and point you in the right direction as far as legal counsel.

Good Luck
