for 18 months i have been fighting with ocwen about my loan modification packet now after 18 months of faxing, calling,emailing and certified mail

Nov 2. 2010 i receive a letter in forming me that i did not qualify for hamp program because my income was too high again "after 5 case workers 4 hamp packets and 2 housing counselors later" when i asked what information they used to arrive at the # they came up with i was told wages, vacation pay personal time etc, i responded to the rep. that all of those things were the same and that a notarized letter showing my monthly salary was included and that the amount that ocwen came up with was higher than the monthly income reported by my employer i was told to resubmit a hamp packet. the next day and 2hrs of being shuffled around the building later i was told that the new packet was received and denied because i now have a janurary 4 2011 sale date for my home, how do u go from 18 months of calling every week, lost applications being put on hold for hrs at a time,constantly resending papers to being denied the chance to have your application reviewed for a federal program that u know u qualify for and can stop u from losing your home.

i know just by looking thru this site and by googling ocwen complaint that i am not the only one that has had bad experiences with this mortgage company they are no better than the loan brokers that caused this problem in the first place.

Ocwen is taking advantage of people and robbing them blind when they have any hardship. They make it even worse for people who have had difficulty paying or have paid late.

IF they modify a loan they do so with a balloon and have a fine print of the fact they are owed a portion of your equity. They are crooks. They take Tens of thousands from the homeowner. They are unbelievable.

You are not able to reach them. You never get the same person. You are given an improper statement to pay your loan with and you pay it and the statement was fraudulent.

They set you up to FAIL!! That is criminal.

I am also looking for a class action suit against Ocwen, for many many reasons. My payment keeps going up, they wont tell me why, give me fake fax numbers to request info, have recently ran my credit with out my permission then amazingly enough my payment went up.

Dear Joann Perez, ( Ocwen ), & Quality Loan Service Corp.,

Very convenient. Again, I am requesting information about the contractor that came to the property for the purpose of verifying information for a BPO that you ordered. It would appear that this person came at your request. Our mailbox was opened by this person. I want to know who this was, who came to my property. I have the right to know who you sent. This is terrorism.

It seems, that based on our conversation, and my extreme displeasure in the event that occurred, that it is now Ocwens position that we no longer communicate. Your fear over the actions of another that Ocwen sent, without notification to the property owner, or it's occupants, has changed the direction that was being followed prior to the event, ( the event being the arrival of a contractor that you sent, unannounced , at night, in the country, who opened our mailbox). Remember, ordering the broker price opinion was done because your reason for declining the loan modification, and cash offer for short sale, was because your agent indicated that a BPO was conducted sept. 2012, that rendered a value of around 400,000. When your representative was questioned on this, the on site BPO was ordered. You told me that the follow up visit, that you ordered, was to allow the broker information to issue a valid amount of value for the property. I suspect that the Sept, BPO was never done, as the value is false, as you now know. So, with no excuse to deny the cash offer, you can now ignore your legal responsibility to follow through and foreclose.

Changing your response because of a situation that YOU ordered is NOT LEGAL! This is also a form of blackmail. You are now refusing to follow through with the stated direction, and specific commitments made by you.

I will now make it my personal goal to bring these breaches to light. I will post this, and all attempted communication, to be made public. I will continue to to call the assigned representative, ( you), leave messages, document all actions. Additionally, a request was sent to your office for information. Some information has been received , but is incomplete. I am requesting this information again.

Consider this a formal complaint and dispute.

We had the same problem that most of everyone else has had with Ocwen. Every time you called you would get India, they never got your paperwork, the next person would tell you yes they got it.

It just went on and on. I would be more then happy to be included in this class action suit.

U guys are a bunch of loosers!! morons,u miss ur payments which is ur mistake,ocwen hasnt signed a contract to modify all ur ****ed up loans, so open ur *** wide open ..ocwen helped me get a modification anyways..and they are god to me..bcoz i have a home just bcoz of ocwen..they are helpful..u sickos have lost ur mind and will soon loose ur home if u sit and file ur class action suits..so funny:)..

Thats great they help you get your home, I am sure there are a small hand full they do help! However Include me in the lawsuit.

They kept my insurance claim check, cashed it, and we never signed it. We never got statements in the mail. I filled out papers for short sale, had a buyer, they said we never got the paper work, and to late. all because they wanted to keep my 9,540.00 This mortgage company needs to be shut down!!

They committed fraud by cashing that check, they then sold our home at a sheriffs auction without our knowledge and they never contacted the second mortgage company to let them know they sold it.... Something wrong with them!!! and Shakira... before you open your big mouth and call people names, you better learn the story on why they lost there home, or could not make payments..

Until you have walked in someones shoes... you should learn to keep your opinions to your self!

I have the exact same problem. They denied my modification twice and even claimed they have lost my federal mofication package.

I'm willing to work with them to keep my house, but they don't want to work with home owners. When I mentioned to the ocwen agent that they took my tax money and should by law, at least, look at the modification, he replied that I was denied and that Ocwen doesn't have to give a reason; when asked to get a reply in writing, he said that ocwen won't send a reply, so I basically had to call them several times to get an answer, and every time I get a person from India who doesn't give a *** about Americans. This company should be banned from operating in the USA. Please, somebody help--let's get together and answer back.

When I insisted to get a reason why I was denied, the Indian agent refused to give one; well, I have one my name is David--and it's quite an anti-semitic decision more than anything else as Ocwen refused to even send me a letter of denial so I can hand to my congressman with all the valid modification papers. Somebody should do something to save Americans from this evil company--I don't feel bad for losing my house; I cannot believe how they took our tax money while engaging in fraud, imaginary fees, lies about not receiving letters of communication, and they never return calls even when they promise--somebody in power should show them that they can treat Americans this way. If we are to emerge from this economic crisis, we should face these companies that are engaging in fraud and using tax money ti fill their pockets while throwing families to the street. Let me share with the terms of the loan I'm trying to modify with them.

Adjustable 200,000 for thirty years with a final balloon payment of 170,000--which means for thirty years, I have paid only thirty thousand of the loan--now, you might think I have a very low mortgage, well not at all, my mortgage is 2100 a month--I'm a teacher and I lost my job two years ago, and now that I just got a decent job I want to pay to keep my home--well, just in case, you say I should have had mortgage income insurance; well, you bet I did, about three years ago, but ocwen cancelled it without my permission--quite interesting, aren't they good at cornering law-abiding citizens and stealing their homes in the broadday light.

I was put on foreclosure proceeding because I sent my payment on the due date, and ocwen processed it one day late, virtually one day late, so they started proceedings and sent me court fees and late fees and applied my last payment to those fees and asked my that I was then behind two months since the fees went to the fees and preforcosure valuations, etc. Unbelievable, I hope that many of you who have similar stories will come together and let's bring to the daylight what this company is engaged in.
